The Sins of the World in 2024
In the depths of our beings, the Holy Spirit dwells, a presence some embrace while others, God's children nonetheless, choose to deny. Observing the world in 2024, I see, feel, and hear evil within many souls, fueling hatred, lust, and rampant greed. Governments are excessively taxing for their own greed, while businesses are raising prices for unnecessary profits, exploiting their power to accumulate more wealth while their communities suffers. The younger generation is engaging in intense hatred towards those who oppose their beliefs, their poor choices, and what they view as immoral behavior of calling for genocide of people in other countries, and not to mention what we call the "pornography generation." Young adults (teenagers) use social media for the lustful pleasures of others to obtain greed and more greed, enlarging their bank accounts with Satan’s money. This all is a result of parents ignoring God due to their child's financial success. Men are transitioning to women and vice versa, with parents and leaders permitting this behavior. Adults have rejected God and all the wonderful things He created. This is wrong and will always be wrong in God's eyes, as we are made in his image. I never thought as a young person that so much evil, hatred, and greed would be prevalent, both worldwide and specifically in the United States. The shift from the holiness of the 1980s to the evil-tinged atmosphere of 2024 is a disheartening and shameful transformation to witness.
I AM LISTENING MY CHILD
"For God said to Moses, 'I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose'".
Romans 9:15-18
"I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will show mercy on whom I will show mercy"
Exodus 33:19
The Act of Contrition
“O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.”
